Susan Spitale Precht | They sold me a toilet when the plumbing manager wasn't there. No one checked it out prior to the sale, including me,. As we all know- you pay to have a plumber come out to your house and it had taken 3 weeks to arrange for one due to my location. We brought the box home in the back- the plumber came out- he got the box opened and the entire toilet was scrambled eggs. Drove back to the store again, the plumbing manager was in and he said, oh I heard that thing rattling on the shelf, I should have taken it down. Although they didn't fully compensate my out of pocket costs for a plumber, or the time and gas it took to switch out the toilet, they did however make an effort and credited me a significant portion of the toilet price. So now I have a brand new toilet sitting in a box in my carport waiting on the day I can afford to hire a new plumber or get brave enough to install it myself. The lesson here is have them open the box before you leave the store. and everyone but me probably already knows this- ah well... |
