Amanda Graves | Cute kitschy little shop full of unique furniture, decor, trinkets, and doodads. We had a lot of fun just exploring the shop though we did actually buy a couple of souvenirs. |
Lara R | This store does have some cute items, but unfortunately I am choosing not to shop here again. An employee was following my son and I around the store as I was shopping, which made me feel very uncomfortable. When I am shopping, I allow my son to be curious and to learn by gently touching items, smelling soaps or candles, and asking questions about what he sees. I find this to be an excellent way for him to learn. If he is not respectful of his surroundings, I immediately take him outside. In this store, my son was not misbehaving, and I was standing directly next to him while shopping. I felt someone watching me so I turned around and made eye contact with her; she immediately backed away as though her following me was not obvious. There was a toilet paper holder on display, and he pulled on part of the roll. The employee who was following us around came up to me immediately and told me to watch my child because they have breakable items in the store. If my son broke an item, I would gladly pay for it. If he disorganized a display, I would make it right. I do not appreciate anyone questioning my parenting. Being a parent is challenging, and I do like to shop in stores that may have breakable items. I am fully aware of my responsibilities as a parent, and I am accountable for my and my son's actions. I will take my business elsewhere. |
Michael Fortenberry | This is a really neat store. I'm not really into the tourist attractions when visiting historic areas but this boutique store had a little bit of everything for everyone. Recommend you go in and check it out. |
